Arsenal legend believes that Arsene Wenger and his squad won’t win the league

There are certain players who have marked their name in the history books of not only football but also with a specific club. This is the case of Francesco Totti with As.Roma as the Italian player is a legend with the club located in Rome.

Totti has spent his entire playing career as a performer of As.Roma and even at his 38 years of age, he still has the quality to compete against other players. Paolo Maldini and Javier Zanetti are retired players who managed to create history with Ac.Milan and Inter Milan respectively.

0When it comes to Arsenal, there is no bigger name that can be mentioned than Thierry Henry as he helped the English club in winning 2 Premier League titles as well as many other pieces of silverware.

Thierry Henry is the top goal-scorer of Arsenal after scoring 228 goals in 376 appearances and even though he left the club, the Frenchman still remains up to date with what is going on in relation to his former club and Henry has recently voiced his opinion concerning the chances that Arsenal has to win the Premier League title of this season.

Former star of Arsenal, Thierry Henry said: “I do not know if the boss wanted Benzema or not, but the player must also want to come. What are you going to offer to the guy who is playing for one of the best teams in the world, knowing that he is playing there week in, week out and performing well?

“But how do you get Benzema from Real Madrid when he plays there and Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain. I do not think he did not want to bring in anyone; he wanted to bring players as we know, but it did not happen. “Ideally it does not look right now like they are going to win the league like this’’

Arsene Wenger has received criticism from former players, his current players and supporters of Arsenal for not signing a top attacker but hopefully the squad can still cope well without a big name offensive player. In the 4 opening matches of the season, Arsenal has collected 7 points from the possible 12 which is much better than Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

It certainly isnt a superb start of a season as Arsenal has already sustained an early defeat after facing off with West Ham United but the squad of Arsene Wenger aren’t doing terrible either.
