Premier League club Everton have started sorting out a list of transfer targets they are willing to go all out for and sign this summer as manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to continue his rebuild at Goodison Park. They have spread out their search for suitable transfer options beyond England and have identified a star talent in faraway Brazil.

The Merseyside outfit have spotted a midfield talent in Brazilian Serie A club Botafogo, in the person of Marco Antonio. The midfielder has been a superb player for his side this season and has gained a lot of ratings and praise for his efforts in the Brazilian league this current campaign.

Everton do have competent scouts who have an eye for spotting talents in South American players, and the most recent confirmation of that is how they were able to sign Brazilian superstar winger Richarlison. They have now identified another South American and Brazilian talent who they wish to move swiftly and sign before competition for his signature grows.

In the current season, the 24-year-old star has been a standout performer for his club among his colleagues and leads the way in some stat areas. He has related the most clear-cut chances in the squad, has completed the most passes so far, has won the most tackles, and also has the best success rate of passes for at least 300 attempted passes made in the league this season.

His assists tally of 8 so far this season could have been higher if his attackers were more clinical than they currently are. Ancelotti is likely not going to call back Theo Walcott from his loan spell at Southampton, meaning that the winger will most likely not be renewing his Everton deal which is set to expire this summer. Hence, the need to sign a replacement.
